Why Shenandoah?
I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Blue Ridge Mountains on one side, Alleghenies on the other, the Shenandoah River running through. And this sounded like a nice domain name.
Fun fact: John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads" is about the Shenandoah Valley. The Blue Ridge Mountains, the Shenandoah River, the country roads are all in (western) Virginia, not West Virginia.
